The PTSenR™ PTSPS105 Passive Wireless Arrester Sensor is a high-precision sensor designed to detect and
record leakage current and overvoltage actions in zinc oxide arresters deployed in high-voltage AC power
systems. Tandem-connected with the arrester’s ground loop, this monitor uses an integrated ampere meter
to assess operating voltage conditions, identify internal moisture or component anomalies, and record the
number of lightning strike events.
Unlike traditional pointer-type meters and mechanical counters that require manual data inspection, the
PTSPS105 wirelessly transmits real-time leakage and strike data to a remote monitoring terminal,
streamlining maintenance and improving fault detection. Reliable performance across a range of industrial
applications, including transformers, transmission lines, switch cabinets, metering boxes, and vacuum
